Grant to our community:
Emergency Medical Assistant Education Fund Awards
This fund, established by the Emergency Health Services Commission, provides awards to students enrolled in accredited institutions in BC for Emergency Medical Assistant(EMA) programs that have been approved by the EMA Licensing Board. In BC, there is a severe shortage of paramedics working in rural, northern and remote areas. Awards from this fund will address the shortage by encouraging paramedics to work in these areas.
