Grants and Community Initiatives Program:
Youth Homelessness
Purpose:
Vancouver Foundation is pleased to announce a new granting initiative for youth homelessness. This program provides grants to organizations that are targeting the complex issue of youth homelessness.
We are specifically looking for initiatives that increase access to, and maintenance of, housing for youth experiencing homelessness.
Goals:
The goal of the Youth Homelessness Initiative is to make a significant contribution to addressing and preventing youth homelessness through granting, convening and partnering activities. It is recognized that to achieve this goal, we will need to make a commitment to working in this area over a significant period of time (3-5 years) and that we will need to develop an evaluation framework for our ongoing work in this area.
To Apply:
We are currently updating our funding guidelines for Youth Homelessness. If you would like to be notified when our new information is available, please email nicolem@vancouverfoundation.ca or check our website in February.
