The Brock House Society Trust Fund
The Brock House Society provides members a social, intellectual, recreational and cultural centre, and, through a stimulating program of activities, enable members to achieve a more satisfying life.
Brock House Society was founded as a registered non-profit society in 1974 to preserve and restore Brock House and operate it as a seniors' activity centre. During the week, this heritage building provides a meeting place for its members to socialize as well as enjoy a varied and interesting program of activities.
Member volunteers are vital to Brock House's operations. They help in the cafeteria, library, office, in the foyer as greeters as well as on many committees. Additionally they organize annual fundraisers, the Summer Fair and the Christmas Fair, all of which have become community events.
Brock House Society is financially independent, and operates with funds generated through revenue from members' fees, donations, activities, fundraising, interest from income from this Endowment Trust Fund and rental income from the Brock House Restaurant.
