Maggie  Knight

Maggie spent many years deeply engaged in Canada’s youth climate movement, and at McGill university she studied climate change vulnerability and adaptation, food security policy, and environmental economics. She has managed teams, advocacy campaigns, finances, and small granting programs through roles as President of McGill’s undergraduate student union during the 2011-2012 Quebec student strike; Managing Director of Leadnow.ca; Operations Manager at RADIUS (Simon Fraser University’s social innovation lab and venture incubator); Treasurer of the HiVE,  Vancouver’s social impact coworking space; and now Operations Director at the BC Civil Liberties Association.
