Ranjana Basu

Ranjana has several years experience caring for rescued animals and advocating for respectful relations with animals in society. As a doctoral student, she will be conducting research highlighting the treatment of animals in society as a social justice issue, and, as such, linking concern for the welfare of animals to social work and social development. She has served on the Health and Social Development Advisory Committee for 4 years.
