Run for One Planet Legacy 4 Kids Fund
The Run for One Planet Legacy 4 Kids Fund is the on-going mission of founders Matt Hill and Stephanie Tait. And it all started from the original 11,000 mile (17,700 km) run tour across Canada and around the perimeter of the United States.
Matt and Stephanie each ran a marathon a day over a 369 day tour, spanning from May 4, 2008 to May 9, 2009. Inspiring environmental action one step at a time, they spoke to over 50,000 kids during 240 school presentations.
The Run for One Planet Legacy 4 Kids Fund grants the seed money to support kids' "green dreams" in elementary schools around North America. The fund has a mission to raise $1 million to support their amazing "pint-sized Planet posse of kids," for generations to come. As part of the tour's original and on-going mission, Matt and Stephanie are passionate about inspiring one million NEW Actions for the Planet from the tour's Top 10 list below.
