Project Description
Melanie currently leads the implementation of a number of early and middle child development research tools at the Human Early Learning Partnership, an interdisciplinary research unit at UBC. She has also held research and evaluation positions in Ottawa and Saint John, where she led multi-stakeholder/collective impact approaches to poverty reduction, as well as thought and practice leadership in volunteerism and volunteer engagement. She has sat on the Greater Saint John Community Foundation Grant Making and Youth Vital Signs Committees and has academic expertise in public policy, geography, and environmental studies.
