Our Grant Programs

Field of Interest Grants

Since 2015, our Field of Interest Grants have focused on funding projects we described as social innovations. This spring, we’re making some changes to clarify the purpose of our funding, and to improve the application process.

Youth Engagement Grants

Grants of approximately $20,000 to $50,000 for charities and other qualified donees with projects that increase racial equity by bringing together and empowering Indigenous, immigrant, and refugee youth.

Neighbourhood Small Grants

Grants of up to $500 for individuals with ideas to help connect and engage residents in their neighbourhood. Because small is beautiful. And small things can have a big impact.

DTES Small Arts Grants

Grants of up to $1,000 for artists who live or work in the downtown east side. Show your connections to the downtown east side, and take your art to the next level.

Grants Guided by Research

We make sure the projects we fund address pressing issues in BC through community dialogues, independent research, youth engagement activities, and our relationships with donors, charities, and other organizations.
