Helen Blackburn

Helen is the Chief Financial Officer at Coast Capital Savings. She is an accomplished strategic and financial executive with over 20 years experience in cooperative and member based financial services.  She was formerly SVP, Strategy and Analytics at Pacific Blue Cross. Previous to this, Helen was Chief Financial Officer and SVP, Strategy at Central 1, and held a variety of senior executive positions at Credential Financial Inc. and Northwest & Ethical Funds. She has served on the Boards of Credential Financial Inc., Central 1 Trust Company and Guardian Ethical Management.  Helen is a Chartered Professional Accountant and has a Bachelor of Arts in Commerce from the University of Toronto.

A recipient of the Business in Vancouver Forty under 40 awards, Helen actively gives back to the community.  She currently serves on the Board of the United Way of British Columbia and has held past Board roles with the Early Childhood Development Provincial Partnership (Success By 6), E-Comm 911, and the Fraser Health Authority.
