Susan Fox has an academic background in business, entrepreneurship, innovation and systems change. For the past 17 years, she has worked with various not for profits, community planning tables and projects at the local and provincial level dedicated to addressing the social determinants of health with a special focus on neuro-diverse child development, child and youth mental health, harm and poverty reduction from the rural and remote community perspective. In her work as the Executive Director at Outreach Therapy (a rural not for profit based in Port Alberni, BC), she has launched three fledgling social enterprises, of which two remain. She thrives in spaces open to innovative thinking and iterative process, where failure is expected, accepted, measured, examined and celebrated.
