No-Cost Legal Advice for Charities
Starting in September 2016, the Business Law Clinic at the Allard School of Law at UBC will begin offering supervised legal advice to segments of the small business, entrepreneurial, and non-profit communities who have limited means. Law students enrolled in the Clinic will provide clients with business & non-profit oriented legal advice and services under the supervision of experienced business lawyers at no cost. To access legal services through the Clinic, a prospective client must be a small business owner, entrepreneur, or non-profit organization located in the Lower Mainland and must satisfy additional eligibility criteria.
To determine eligibility, prospective clients must complete the Clinic’s on-line application. A full list of legal services and more information about how to become a client can be found on the Clinic’s website.
