Upcoming donation deadlines 2026

If you are considering donating or granting before the end of the year, please keep in mind the following dates:  

• Monday, November 16, 2026: Deadline for Donor Advised Fund advisors wishing to make 2026 grants. Grant requests received after November 16 may not be processed until January 2027. 
• Monday, November 30, 2026: Deadline for mutual fund donations to qualify for a 2026 tax receipt.
• Monday, December 14, 2026: Deadline for securities donations to qualify for a 2026 tax receipt.
• Thursday, December 31, 2026: Deadline for wire, online, and cheque donations to qualify for a 2026 tax receipt.
  Note: If sent by mail, the envelope must be post-marked no later than Dec 31st. We encourage using electronic methods to ensure the donation is received by December 31st.
